Whats the difference between kyokushin-kai and kyokushin-kan?

I’ve been practicing kyokushin-kan for 5 months now, but I guess there is also a thing called kyokusin-kai, as well as other arts origination from kyokushin. Whats the difference between kyokushin-kai and kyokushin-kan?
I don’t think its the same thing though, because supposedly kyokushin-kan is the one that is trying to bring back head punches. Also, aren’t they run by two different people now?

Both are derived directly from kyokushin karate, created by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama.

In other words, it’s the same thing, but differs a bit in the spelling.
